FareShare is the UK’s longest running food redistribution charity. Born 25 years ago out of the belief that no good food should go to waste, they and their regional partners continue to enable us to support the people of Bishop Auckland to ensure that no-one goes hungry.
We ourselves partner with the other churches in the area and could not continue this considerable task without their much-valued help. This week the FareShare collection was undertaken by John and Vanessa from Bishop Auckland Methodist Church who helped distribute the produce with help from Woodhouse Close Church.
